CEFTAZIDIME
- Third-generation cephalosporin with broad-spectrum activity against gram-positive and gram-negative aerobic bacteria, 1
- Clinically effective for treating respiratory tract infections such as hospital-acquired pneumonia.2
- Ceftazidime penetrates well into tissues, body fluid, and cerebrospinal fluid.3
- Efficacious in treatment of Urinary tract infections, skin infections, bone and joint infections as well as gynecologic infections.
SULBACTAM
- Shows intrinsic activity against multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii. 4
- Irreversibly inhibits the hydrolytic activity of beta-lactamases.5
CEFTAZIDIME AND SULBACTАМ
- A fixed-dose combination of ceftazidime plus sulbactam is more potent than ceftazidime alone.6

- 1.5gm/3gm administered intravenously or intramuscularly every 8 to 12 hours
